Protection of personal data

We undertake to process your personal data in strict confidentiality. Liability:

The Agence luxembourgeoise d’action culturelle, a not-for-profit association with its headquarters at Cercle place d’Armes, L-2012 Luxembourg, registered in the Luxembourg Trade and Companies Register under number F774, (hereinafter the ‘Agence’) is the processor of your personal data.

Purpose(s) and legal basis(bases) for processing your personal data:

The information you provide to us via a form, email or telephone is necessary to process your request (e.g. to participate in events we manage), or so we can contact you (for example, by sending you a newsletter). The requirement for the provision of such personal data is contractual in nature.

Categories of recipients of personal data:

The following persons are recipients of the personal data: the Agence’s staff, but only within the framework of the tasks entrusted to them.

In addition, you expressly agree that your personal data, for business use, may be transferred to our subcontractors or co-contractors for the purposes mentioned above and for business management and computer backup purposes. For these transfers, the Agence has established agreements in line with the European regulations, thus setting out our commitment to properly protecting the processing of your personal data.

Purpose and duration of retention of personal data:

The personal data collected is processed by the Agence solely for the purpose of responding to your request and contacting you in the event of any questions or where further information is required. Personal data collected will not be used for any other purposes and will not be stored in our systems beyond the period necessary to achieve this objective.

Rights of the data subject:

You have a right of information, access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, a right to portability of data and a right to object regarding your personal data. The exercise of these rights shall be in accordance with the procedures laid down in the applicable legislation.

Right to submit a complaint to a supervisory authority:

Every natural person whose personal data is collected/processed has the right to submit a complaint to the National Commission for Data Protection (www.cnpd.public.lu) if he or she considers that there has been an infringement in the processing of his or her personal data.
