Bach in the Subways

On Monday March 21, 2022, INECC and AD LIBITUM are organizing mini-concerts in concert halls and unusual places in Luxembourg City and Kirchberg, free to the public.

"Bach in the Subways" was initiated by a New York cellist in 2010, on Johann Sebastian Bach's birthday.

Since then, every March 21, thousands of musicians around the world perform pieces by the famous composer on a voluntary basis, sometimes in surprising interpretations, such as jazz or an arrangement for instruments that Bach himself did not envisage.
