Cercle Cité's CeCiL's Box project sees works displayed in one of the building's windows on Rue du Curé. The aim is to show the public varied and original applied art installations while also supporting local art by providing invited artists with a showcase on the street. These installations whose size is dictated by the space offered by the window can be viewed 24/7.
Artist Daniel Wagener has been commissioned for the seventh installation.
Daniel Wagener has designed a playful and quirky piece of work for his installation in CeCiL's Box combining different techniques and materials. It uses air from a hairdryer to create random and graphic compositions on multiple screens. It is literally a drawing machine that is left constantly running, permanently creating fleeting new visual spaces. This kinetic installation provides passers-by with an opportunity to watch images being created in the form of random, temporary compositions in a mechanical microcosm.
