CeCiL's Box by Steve Gerges

With its CeCiL’s Box project, Cercle Cité welcomes creations in one of its windows on rue du Curé. This project aims to present varied and original interventions to the public, and is also a way to support local creation by offering visibility to guest artists. These interventions are visible 7 days a week, day and night.

FIELDS is an interactive installation which uses 3D movement tracking technology, integrating the street’s passing onlookers by playing with the flux of the city as a participating element in the art piece. The onlooker’s movements become the central element of this moving installation. The latter uses the air flow codes of representation and incorporates them in the art piece, in correlation with the transitional movements of the city’s pedestrians.

In collaboration with the MULTIPLICA festival – An exploration of the numeric arts presented at the Rotondes, from the 1^st to the 3^rd of March 2019.
