With its CeCiL’s Box project, Cercle Cité welcomes creations in one of its windows on rue du Curé. This project aims to present varied and original interventions to the public, and is also a way to support local creation by offering visibility to guest artists. These interventions are visible 7 days a week, day and night.
For this installation, the illustrator Keong-A Song was inspired by two authors that she particularly appreciates, Pierre Sansot and Georges Perec.
She has created a three-dimensional structure of the city of Luxembourg, characterised by its different levels: the lower town, the upper town (…), by using drawing, paper cut-outs, sculpture, writing and recuperated objects. From the picturesque and multicultural aspect of Luxembourg, she has invented a representational space urging you to roam and to explore the city differently.
