The forest unveiled
Creative workshop led by Valentin Van der Meulen
The workshop will begin with a guided walk led by the Forest Service of the City of Luxembourg, inviting participants to discover the forest. During this walk, leaves and plants will be collected and will serve as a starting point for artistic exploration.
Upon returning, each participant will create a composition on blotting paper by freely arranging the gathered natural elements, inspired by images, memories, or emotions.
With the use of colored inks, shapes will gradually emerge in negative, transforming the composition into a living herbarium, somewhere between drawing and imprint.
It will be a creative moment to explore the dialogue between nature and image, between fiction and the living world, in resonance with the themes of the exhibition.
Comfortable and sporty clothing recommended.
Activity in the forest. In case of bad weather, the activity will take place indoors, at the premises of the Forest Service of the City of Luxembourg.
