Julien Hoffmann's centenary

Julien Hoffmann (1924-2007), a Luxembourg composer, specialised in choral and vocal music. Originally a pianist, he turned to singing after injuring his hand. In 1966, he founded the Jong Lëtzebuerg choir, which has won national and international acclaim. To mark his birthday, a postage stamp will be issued and an exclusive concert will be given by Les Amis du chant, with soprano Steffi Schlink and pianist Lynn Orazi, conducted by François Theis.
