Mardis Littéraires - Jean Schoos : Attentat

Once or twice a month, on a Tuesday, the Lëtzebuerg City Bibliothèque offers literary authors the opportunity to present their novels and read excerpts from their works followed by a Q&A and signing session.

Investigator Fischbach reveals a new side of himself: His many years of service and the numerous setbacks he has had to endure throughout his career have left their mark, and the "hunting dog," as he was once called, has lost his bite. But two cases rekindle his investigative instincts: an attack on the railway and the body of a supposed journalist found in the reservoir.

In search of solid evidence, Fischbach ventures into dangerous territory—stress and tension that take a toll on his health and nearly cost him his life. Yet the certainty that he is on the right track won’t let him rest, and he clings to the case… until someone else takes matters into their own hands.

This book marks the conclusion of the “Gudde Gendaarm, Béise Gendaarm” series, centered around investigator Fischbach.
