Workshops
As part of the Rethinking Photography: Presence/Absence, Visible/Invisible exhibition
Creating a portrait is both personal, intimate, and yet also influenced by all the other photographs we've seen before. A window into the inner self, which is also inspired by all the other windows into the outside world.
During this workshop, you will have the opportunity to create a portrait that is unique: the result of your choices, emotions, and creativity!
We will draw inspiration from the work of artists exhibited at the Ratskeller (feel free to explore them beforehand) as well as famous photographs. We will also discuss their history.
Scissors and glue (provided), along with your imagination (bring it with you), will be the main tools for your creations!
All material is provided.
