Exhibitions
In the absence of exhibitions at the Ratskeller for the end of the year, Cercle Cité has commissioned a “carte blanche” from Monogram, to dress up the windows of the rue du Curé.
In a reflection to support Luxembourgish creatives – as was the case in spring with the online project “Design Decameron” – and by offering a surface for personal expression in the public space, Cercle Cité comes out of its four walls to give visibility to creative talents and share their work with the public in a different way.
Tell Me About (Y)Our Mother
What makes us who we are? There is often some difficulty in accepting consciously that what we see is regarding us.
The symmetrical inkblots – here, the carefully organized and layered kleksography of Mother Nature – most powerfully stimulate apophenia, the human tendency to see meaningful patterns in random data.
Personal associations are leading the way to the unconscious inner self, the deeper aspects of one’s own nature, but the root of our ability to adjust to the world around us is ultimately tied to our relationship with our Mother: Nature.
