graveyard escape
With its CeCiL’s Box project, Cercle Cité welcomes creations in one of its windows on rue du Curé. This project aims to present varied and original interventions to the public, and is also a way to support local creation by offering visibility to guest artists. These interventions are visible 7 days a week, day and night.
Mary-Audrey Ramirez uses creatures made of synthetic materials to create iconographic and allegorical universes that are as frightening as they are absurdly fascinating. Her presentations in the form of installations are besieged by fantastical animals and hybrid creatures from digital and film universes. In the centre of the "graveyard escape" installation for the CeCiL's Box space we find a computer-generated loop by artist Pirate Sheep (Marta Stražičić). A hypnotic vortex sucks spectators and the scintillating extra-terrestrial creatures that spring from it into its whirl. Let's get lost!

The project introduced by Luxembourger exhibition curator Gilles Neiens is part of the "Club Quarantina" exhibition. For more info: www.accce.de
As an alternative to the usual opening, we invite you to meet-up with the artist and the curator in front of the CeCiL's Box on Thursday 6th May at 12:00.
