Le Cercle Cité prend l'air

On the occasion of its 10th anniversary and continuing on from the partnership with TROIS C-L and support for artists, the Cercle Cité is launching an original project that combines dance and video - given the impossibility of organising an event in the Grande Salle. It’s aim is to celebrate the existence of the Cercle Cité up to the present day by investing unusual outdoor parts of the building in order to introduce a breath of fresh air and to transport spectators toward other imaginary worlds.

Following on from a call for projects launched in collaboration with TROIS C-L, the selected artists -  Baptiste Hilbert (AWA), Georges Maikel Pires Monteiro & Ileana Orofino and Rhiannon Morgan - have been invited to take possession of these spaces and to imagine choreographies on these original playgrounds that are unknown to the public: the outdoor balcony of the Grande Salle (Baptiste Hilbert, AWA), the inner courtyard of the Cité Bibliothèque (Georges Maikel Pires Monteiro & Ileana Orofino) and the roof of the Cité building (Rhiannon Morgan).
