Beginning in October, Corina Ciocârlie and the Cercle Cité introduce a new cycle of encounters devoted to the phenomenon of migration as seen by writers and photographers. Recommended reading and discussions will be organised around the key words (e.g. identities, culture, work, family, citizenship, racism) that structure the new digital platform entitled "Cliché – Société en migration", coordinated by the Centre for Intercultural Education (Menje/Asti). The series will first focus on "multicultural" Luxembourg and migratory flows through the lens of clichés: stock images and hackneyed expressions, or stereotypical images of a reality.

The ten encounters – scheduled for 22 October and 3 December 2020, as well as 28 January, 25 February, 25 March, 15 April, 27 May, 17 June, 30 September and 21 October 2021 – will reflect two photographic exhibitions programmed by the Cercle Cité around the same theme: "mateneen" (19 September – 25 October 2020) and "Norbert Ketter / Sophie Feyder. Hors champs" (25 September – 31 October 2021).
